MAESA Episcopal Schools Day Celebration Services 2022

MAESA Episcopal Schools Celebration and Service will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Washington National Cathedral: Each fall MAESA welcomes elementary school students to worship together and celebrate the blessing of being in an Episcopal school community. Please note date Oct. 4th is a Tuesday, rather than Wednesday when Yom Kippur is observed.

MAESA is working to plan the Episcopal Schools Celebration and Service, in Richmond, Va. for October 2022 also, and will share the date as soon as it is confirmed.

“We See You” 2020 Chaplains Video: To fill this void of not gathering to worship, and to celebrate our Episcopal schools, we decided to create a video thank you message spoken by MAESA school chaplains and leaders. They voice examples from their school with the refrain “we see you” in witness to the selfless actions of so many adults who are part of MAESA.

For the 2020-2021 school year, MAESA also created a prayer rota, found here, which assigns a week of prayer to each of our MAESA schools. We ask you to hold in prayer each of these MAESA schools during the designated week at your school’s chapel service, and also in your daily prayers.
