THE MAESA SCHOLARS’ FAIR

THE MAESA SCHOLARS’ FAIR

The MAESA Scholars’ Fair will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. The fair is open to 4th – 8th grade students for participation in a juried art exhibit, science fair, geography and spelling bees, multimedia informative and multimedia creative presentations and a non-competitive design thinking activity. This one-of-a-kind event brings together more than 180 students from MAESA members schools for one action-packed day. Volunteer event judges are a very important part of this annual event especially in the art, science and multimedia categories. Please carefully review the registration form when released and consider bringing judges from your school. Thank you!

The 2025 MAESA Scholars’ Fair Registration will open in spring 2025.

Please view the MAESA 2024 Scholars Fair Category Guidelines & Rubrics.  These will remain the same for 2025 and the pages will be updated soon with new contacts. (You will be able to download and print the materials below for your students and faculty.)  Event day check-in is 8:30-9:00 am and concludes with the awards presentation which begins at 12:30 pm.

The MAESA Scholars Fair depends on the dedicated volunteerism of adults from all participating schools to serve as judges for the events. Please review several reminders and changes to our 2024 Scholars Fair as you recruit adults from your school community to serve as judges. Thank you!
  1. Each school must bring a minimum of two, (2) persons to act as judges.
  2. The agenda has been designed this year to ensure time in between for judges to break for snacks/lunch, thus the need for a few more of them to serve in the rooms at the times designated to achieve this result!
